On April 28th to 30th, Plan launched a training of children’s leadership, which is one part of child-centered education training, in the boardroom of JiaXian County Education Bureau. Plan staff, officers from JiaXian Education Bureau and representatives of teachers and students of four complete primary schools in JiaLu Township and FangTa Township attended the training. All participating children were very active in the interaction, and they showed their
aspirations and wishes through performances, paintings and words. After two days’ training, the children summed up main problems existing in their schools, families, and communities. Meanwhile, they have made out some effective measures regarding to these problems. After the meeting, a discussion was opened by officers of JiaXian Education Bureau, teachers of these schools, children theater assistants and Plan staff. Participants shared their own views on the development of children theater over these years and highly appreciated the activity. Meanwhile, they pointed out the significance of these activities, the main issues, as well as the plan and development for future activities. School teachers also stated that they would try their best to manage the activities as well as affect the neighboring schools. |
